The Project Timeline
After contacting RSB:
Discuss the Project
RSB will discuss your project over the phone, answer any initial questions, and then schedule an appointment either over the phone or at your home to gather all needed information to provide a proposal.
Email Confirmation
RSB will email a confirmation of the appointment.
In-Person Appointment
RSB will arrive at the scheduled appointment time to discuss the project, take measurements and gather all needed information to complete an estimate for the homeowners. RSB will also provide the homeowners with a folder of brochures to keep and samples to view.
During the proposal process:
Email Proposal
Proposal will be emailed within 7 days from your appointment for decks and within 14 days for screen rooms.
Follow-Up
Rock Solid Builders will follow-up with customer upon sending proposal.
After choosing RBS for your project:
Mail Signed Contract
The customer will mail RSB a copy of a signed contract, a copy of their home’s Plat of Survey, and the deposit amount listed. This allows RSB to put the customer on their schedule. RSB will email customer confirmation of receipt and provide an estimated start date.
HOA Approval
If the homeowner has a Homeowner’s Association, RSB will provide the homeowners with any necessary drawings for the homeowners to apply for HOA approval for their project.
Permit Application
Schedule Start Date
RSB will contact customer upon permit approval and reconfirm estimated start date.
Confirm Start Date
RSB will confirm start date 2 business days prior to actual start date.
Deliver Materials & Get Started
RSB will arrive on start date at 7am to handle lumber delivery and start the job.
Inspection Schedule
RSB will explain the city or county inspection schedule to the customer, and be onsite for the majority of inspections.
Final Walk-Through
Your Deck is Complete!
This is it! Your new backyard escape awaits! RSB appreciates their clients so much. You will receive a thank you letter from us.
Trex® & TimberTech® Product Registration
RSB will register all Trex® and TimberTech® projects with the manufacturer.
Customer Review
RSB will follow-up with the customer for a review of the service provided.
