This deck is a perfect example of how you can mix Trex® with cedar to create a unique deck while staying within a budget. This decking, stair treads, and top rail on the railing are all Trex® Transcend. There is even a two-tone decorative border to dress up the large amount of decking. The rest of the components on the deck including the pergola are out of cedar. We did install aluminum balusters with decorative baskets to dress up the railings and reduce the maintenance on the railings. This deck turned out beautifully!
